1. The text of Rite Two from the Book of Common Prayer performed in the Closing Choral Eucharist of the 2024 National Conference of the Association of Anglican Musicians.

2. The text of the 2011 ICEL English translation of the Gloria used in the Roman Catholic Mass.

The setting is written to promote congregational participation by—

• Using an attractive melody that spans only one octave and avoids awkward rhythms.
• Employing the entire text – straight through – without a refrain.
• Keeping melodic and harmonic content grouped around the thematic sections of the text.
